This application is aimed at any applicant who has received a denial of a Medical Certificate and wishes to formally request reconsideration of that decision.

Application Requirements
The applicant must have previously applied for a Medical Certificate and received a final outcome of Unfit from the Aviation Medical Examiner (AME).
Guidance Notes
Workflow:
1- Application: The applicant submits a written reconsideration request within 60 days of receiving the denial letter, addressed to the Director of the Flight Safety Department through the system.
2- Review: The CAA reviews the appeal, including the grounds for disagreement and any new supporting medical evidence submitted.
3- CAA Decision: The CAA issues a final decision based on the review of the appeal and supporting documentation. The applicant is formally notified of the outcome.
Required Documents:
- Written explanation of the grounds for disagreement with the denial decision
- New or supporting medical evidence (if applicable), along with justification for why it was not submitted during the initial assessment
- Identification of any factual errors or regulatory misinterpretations in the original decision
