This service is offered to medical facilities wishing to operate as Aviation Medical Centers (AeMCs). An initial designation is issued, granting them authorization to conduct aviation medical examinations in accordance with the Civil Aviation Regulations

Eligibility Requirements:
a. The facility must have a designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (SAME) as the Head of the Aviation Medical Center within the CAA-approved medical institution, responsible for conducting first-class medical assessments and examinations for applicants over 60 years of age.
b. The center must have one or more Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs) capable of performing first-class examinations under the direct supervision of the Head of the Center (SAME).
c. The facility must have an Alternate SAME to assume the duties of the Head of the Center during their absence.
