This is an application to voluntary surrender a previously issued Medical Certificate.

Online Service 15 This application is aimed at any Medical Certificate holder that wishes to no longer hold their medical certification and would like it revoked by the Civil Aviation Authority

    Workflow:

    1- Application: 

    The applicant submits a cancellation request directly to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), along with a written justification and supporting identification documents.

    2- Review: 

    The CAA reviews the request to ensure it is voluntary and that the applicant is the rightful certificate holder.

    3- CAA Decision:

    After verifying the accuracy of the information, the Authority completes the cancellation process and updates the status of the Medical Certificate to “Cancelled/Returned” in the system.

    An official cancellation confirmation certificate may be issued to the applicant upon request.



    Required documentation:

    • A recent photo with a blue background 4x4 front passport.
    • Passport and visa copy
    • Written justification for cancellation

    When has to be performed?

    In certain cases, the holder of a Medical Certificate may no longer need to maintain it due to retirement, a change in career path, or other personal or professional reasons.
