Eligibility Requirements:
- The center must have a designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (SAME) as the Head of the Aviation Medical Center within the CAA-approved medical institution, responsible for conducting first-class medical assessments and examinations for applicants over 60 years of age.
- The center must have one or more Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs) capable of performing first-class examinations under the direct supervision of the Head of the Center (SAME).
- The center must have a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (SAME) to assume the duties of the Head of the Center during their absence.
Workflow:
1- Application Submission:
The medical facility submits the renewal request along with the required documents to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
2- Review:
The CAA reviews the facility’s infrastructure, quality management system, staff qualifications, and examiner designations.
3- Inspection:
The CAA may conduct an on-site visit to verify compliance with the requirements.
4- CAA Decision:
If all requirements are met, the CAA issues the renewal of the Aviation Medical Center designation.
